This is the time of year when many of my clients are contacting me to check if their year-to-date federal and state withholdings are adequate.
My firm will prepare a detailed projection based on the extrapolation of your YTD payroll and self-employment data.
Don’t Guess! We can tell you, with great accuracy, what your net income tax refund or balance due might be once we get your tax returns completed at tax time.
If we find that you may owe something, this gives plenty of time to make an estimated tax payment now to avoid underpayment interest and penalties that might be assessed against you if you owe too much come April 15.
If we find that you will have a refund coming, then you can rest easy the next few months.
