I wanted everyone to know that my CPA firm is open and operating at 100% tax season level.
We are prepared to prepare your returns, and most importantly, answer any and all of your questions and concerns with regard to all the temporary tax filing and tax payment changes being instituted.
Although there some governmental extensions, we are urging everyone to act as if their tax returns are still due on April 15th, even if they plan to pay their taxes due on July 15th, the new federal due date.
If you plan to NOT file by April 15th, I urge you to allow me to file an extension for you by April 15th, just to be assured that if the IRS systems aren’t updated for the temporary July 15th date, you will have a valid extension in their system with no chance of future IRS notices.
I have also established a drive up meeting area in my parking lot for clients who want to avoid office meetings, but still need to get me their paperwork so I can prepare their returns. This allows us to talk from a safe distance through a slightly lowered car window.
